State Swim Olympics – Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

• Open to all currently enrolled State Swim students.
• Not available to employees of State Swim or their immediate families.
• Participants must be residents of Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria.
• Participants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent to enter.

Competition Period:

• The competition runs from Friday 18 July 7:00 AM AWST to 11:59 PM AWST on August 11, 2024.

How to Enter:

• Achieve your next State Swim skill level and receive your skill merit certificate.
• Take a clear selfie photograph with your skill merit certificate.
• Post the selfie on Facebook or Instagram, using the hashtag #StateSwimSkill and tagging @State_Swim in the post.
• Profiles must be public to be eligible.

Prizes:

• First Prize: $500 Rebel Sport voucher AND 1 month of FREE State Swim lessons at the student’s regular location.
• Second Prize: $250 Rebel Sport voucher.
• Third Prize: $100 Rebel Sport voucher.
• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

Winner Selection:

• Winners will be chosen randomly from eligible entries on August 15, 2024.
• Winners will be notified by phone or email. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a new winner may be drawn.

General Conditions:

• State Swim reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
• By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions and grant State Swim permission to use their photos and names for promotional purposes.
• State Swim is not responsible for any late, lost, or misdirected entries.
• The competition is void where prohibited by law.
• This competition is not available at our Osborne Park location.

Liability:

• State Swim is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize.

Privacy:

• Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of the competition and in accordance with State Swim’s privacy policy.

Promoter:

• The promoter of this competition is State Swim Pty Ltd.

Complimentary Offer – New Customers April/May 2024

Offer Description:

• New customers receive one (1) complimentary Swim & Play or Learn To Swim lesson at participating State Swim locations.

Eligibility:

• This offer is valid for new customers only.
• Children must be within the age ranges suitable for the Swim & Play or Learn To Swim programs.

• This offer is valid for one complimentary lesson per new customer.
• The complimentary lesson is for Swim & Play or Learn To Swim programs only.
• Lesson availability might be subject to the location’s schedule.

Additional Terms

• This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.
• This offer is not transferable to another person.
• State Swim reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time.

State Swim Easter Colouring Competition 2024

Who can enter?

The competition is open to all regular* State Swim customers, except for employees (or family members of employees) of State Swim, their families, or anyone connected with the planning or administration.

The competition has three age categories; 0-4 years, 5-8 years and over 9 years.

How to enter?

To enter the following three steps are required to be completed:

1. Download a State Swim colouring page or collect from your swim school
2. Decorate your colouring page and complete your name, age, contact phone and email address
3. Submit your completed colouring page to your CSO

Please note we cannot accept entries via electronic means, such as email, Instagram, or Facebook. Entries are limited to one per person. 

Closing Date & Winner Selection

• Entries must be submitted by close of business, Thursday 28th March 2024.
• A panel from each State Swim school will select winners.
• Winners will be notified by their swim school, either by phone or email, by close of business Thursday 4th April 2023.

Prizes

Each of the three age categories (0-4 years, 5-8 years and over 9 years), has three prizes. The prizes are:

• 1st prize – $100 State Swim Swim Shop Voucher
• 2nd prize – $75 State Swim Swim Shop Voucher
• 3rd prize – $50 State Swim Swim Shop Voucher

All State Swim Swim Shop Vouchers have a 3 year expiry from date of issue.
